First Class Success Stories

"Your continued support for Child A is heartwarming and I would personally like to thank you for going the extra mile and doing things out of your remit as their tutor. I will not hesitate to recommend your service to colleagues and have advocated that support continues for Child A through transition period and in future post 16 provision."

"Full of praise for your professionalism and support "above and beyond"… these students would not have achieved their potential of these grades if they had stayed in school."
Assistant Head
Trinity School
"5 stars! I had three tutors for my separate subjects while being out of school for two and a half years due to mental health issues. Without the help of first class I may have never been able to overcome these issues, never mind getting 5+ GCSEs from A-C! But with their help I managed to pass all 7, gaining mostly Bs and also an A in Psychology. I am so grateful for all the help that they offered and I don't think I could express this no matter which way I put it.'"

"I wanted to say a very big thank you to yourself and the team at First Class who have looked after xxx so well over the last 3 years. When xxx was expelled from xxx at age 15, struggling with mental health and ADHD, it was very hard to imagine that xxx could achieve academically or find a happy future. However, with lots of help and support from the First Class tutors xxx has made huge strides. In the last few months xxx has sat all A levels at home, turned 18, been discharged from CAMHS, and today left independently to meet friends in London for a 3 week inter-railing trip. They have made it to their first destination, Amsterdam, and managed to check into their hostel. xxx is really happy and it is lovely to see xxx looking well and feeling happy and confident. I would like to thank you for all your hard work in getting xxx to this point. Without help from First Class, xxx would have remained lost and failing in the school system. Having one to one tuition by caring tutors who understood and met xxx's needs has been a very big part of xxx's recovery. Thank you again all for the work you have done with xxx. I can’t express how much we appreciate what you have done for us as a family. "

"Thank you to First Class staff for being another set of eyes and ears!"
Social Worker
"XXX started tutoring with FCTS at the end of year 11. She had suffered anxiety and social phobia throughout KS3 and 4 where she could no longer cope with the school environment. XXX took two A Level exams and one AS Level, giving her enough UCAS point to attend university. She has graduated with a 2:1….an incredible story and journey! "
