PATHWAYS 2 is an alternative provision based at Grove House Stables, in peaceful rural surroundings in Misterton, serving learners outside education, in an environment that encourages their academic and personal development. We specialise in supporting anxious young people to develop their self confidence, independence and resilience.

Qualified and experienced teachers​ and teaching assistants specialised in dealing with learners who are currently outside mainstream education. We will ensure that they receive a bespoke timetable which will enable them to reach their potential.

What we offer

  • A calm, supportive and nurturing environment

  • Interaction with nature and animals

  • Work experience around the farm

  • PSHE sessions including; Drugs and alcohol, Sex and Relationships, Internet Safety, Managing Stress and Anxiety and controlling anger

  • Developing practical and social skills as well as self confidence

  • Academic teaching and preparation for a wide variety of examinations including GCSE, Functional Skills, ASDAN, Arts Award and AIMS Awards in Animal Care, Horticulture, Sports and Employability Skills.

  • ‘Changing Lives Through Horses’ programme – developing life skills ranging from everyday communication, to team work and understanding responsibility
